There are several names for grandfather clocks: longcase, tallcase and floor clocks. My favorites are the antique ones. Quite an expensive hobby though. Please tell me if you have an antique clock for sale. Am very interested and always willing to pay a reasonable price as long as the clock is in a good condition. Broken clocks are a different story, because repair or restoration of antique grandfather clocks is very expensive and, in most cases, I can't do it myself. Repairing such clocks requires very specific knowledge and tools. But, if you are willing to sell for a low price, I'm always interested to negotiate.
